There's a reason why we build ambulances the way we do.
It’s why we round the corners on our countertops. Why we make sure
cabinet doors stay closed, welds are rock solid and structural cross
members are always twelve inches on center. It’s what drives us to use a
specially-designed body mounting system and keeps us obsessed about
safety. We know you need these rigs to help you do a tough, ugly,
thankless job. And since 1974, we’ve been building them better than
anyone else. So until your job gets easier, and emergencies become a
thing of the past, we’ll be here. Because when you boil it down, the
only reason we’re here is to help you do your job better.
That’s why we think about everything.

Introducing the New Redimedic by Medtec!
Medtec
Ambulance Corporation, introduced its RediMedic™ line of
full featured and value positioned ambulances. The RediMedic line is
easy-to-operate, easy-to-service and available with a full range of
innovative features in popular configurations and chassis
choices.“Through direct feedback from our customers – including EMTs,
fleet managers and mechanics – we identified the need for a value
positioned ambulance line that is built on the foundation of simplicity,
ease of maintenance and a range of enhancements. The RediMedic R146
includes features such as: a recessed overhead grab-rail; angled and
protected roll-up flooring; and ducted air conditioning to help make
EMTs safer and more comfortable. The line also features: sweep-out and
drop-down compartments; set-back upper interior cabinets; 10-switch
front electrical panel; fire-grade ADP step-well; sharps and waste
compartment within the squad bench; and a host of other options.
RediMedic ambulances are built for simplified maintenance and service,
with easy access to electrical, HVAC assemblies, oxygen components and
other systems. Mechanics and fleet managers will immediately appreciate
the fact that we designed the RediMedic line to be easy to maintain and
service – keeping them on frontline duty and out of the maintenance
shop. The RediMedic line is being introduced to the market with a robust
inventory of stock vehicles, and a shorter than traditional lead-time
for fleet purchases. The ambulance is available on Ford, GMC or Dodge
platforms with a choice of either gas or diesel engines. The RediMedic
line comes in the following models - R146, R152, R164, and R172.
